Environmental communication (EC)- research and strategic planning experience in four-steps EC model implementation (environmental information, education, public participation and environmental friendly behaviour). National level project supported by EEA grant ( 2009-2010) , implemented in cooperation with the University of Latvia.

Water policy (particularly WFD) - activities ranging from  capacity-building  for developing river basin and water infrestructure plans at local levels to feasibility studies and public surveys, development of water sector assessment reports, etc. Practical experience in working with stakeholder groups on public involvement issues in river basin management and the monitoring process. Methodology development and training capacity in the WFD area. Public voluntary water monitoring experience. Good international contacts. Know –how transfer experience to  Belarus, Moldova, Russia.

Sustainable tourism and nature trails, developing guidelines and training modules for environmental friendly practices, training of rural tourism entrepreneurs. Green certification, quality management.

Education for sustainability . Implementation of the Ecoteam concept into Latvian schools, training of teachers and students, methodology development. Cooperation with National Environmental Educators Association. Research activities in field of EE.
